Moto X APEX 2025 Details

The all new MotoX range is a unicorn in the kitesurfing industry. Normal development practices take an already known conventional product and try to give it a boost by adding new materials, often loosing out in certain performance aspects as new materials are introduced. The Moto X range has gone the other way for 2025.

Using the Moto X DW kite as a benchmark, we tasked our designers with making the Apex kite perform as close as possible to the Aluula framed version.

The outcome is the ultimate in performance freeride, able to take what ever style of riding you do to the next level. Big Air, Freeride, wave. Everything is possible on this Jack of all trades kite.

  • Ultra HT - An Apex series product from the CAB Design Works Team. Developed exclusively for kite leading edges, this is a strong, stable, and exceptionally responsive material. Ultra HT reduces the weight of the leading edge and struts while boasting incredibly low elongation and response. A unique and proprietary coating process increases durability and performance unlike anything you have felt before.
  • Teijen D2 Ripstop Canopy - Engineered to provide a lightweight material with exceptional bias control and recovery, the Teijin D2 Material works hand in hand with the Ultra HT material on the Apex kites to provide the next level in performance and reactivity.
  • Bulletproof bumpers - These Durable TPU bumpers are strong, lightweight and durable. They crossover protecting the canopy to LE sewing. A new manufacturing process helps with abrasion when the kite is resting on a hard surface
  • Sprint 3.0 Inflation - The Sprint 3.0 inflation system increases air flow from leading edge to the strut. The straight and angled valves allow for no kinking of the inflation tube. It's secure fit design also allows for easy maintenance.
  • Apex Bridle - Apex bridles are thinner and have lower elongation that optimises efficiency and steering. The reduced diameter lines increase airflow efficiency as airflow passes between the lines
