This year we have fine tuned the tension in the whole canopy by adding a seam that spreads the back line tension further towards the center of the kite for an even more powerful and balanced kite as well as the new OnePoint and SureLock Inflation System.

The longest running kite in the Naish line, the Torch with ESP has kept freestyle and big-air specialists stoked for over a decade.

With input from Red Bull King of the Air Champions and top freestyle kiters, the Torch continues to be refined and tuned to deliver smoother power and precise handling for predictable flying. Adjustments to the leading edge and 5th line deliver marked improvements in low end power, ensuring maximum power delivery in marginal conditions.

The strength and rigidity of Quad-Tex contributes to overall weight reduction, enabling our designers to remove components that are no longer necessary. HT Plus—the leading edge thread reinforcement—continues to support the strength of our kites, ensuring the leading edge holds strong, beating after beating. Last, but not least, the ESP setting allows kiters to tune the flying angle for better control and easier depower.

• C-Shape: This proven airframe design delivers maximum pop and lift. The non-swept outline aligns the center of effort with the tow point for perfect loading through the canopy at all times, resulting in power through the turn.
• ESP: Greater angle of attack control for more instant depower
• Low-V, 5-line Platform: Kite flies more open for more direct bar feel & heightened stability
• Evolutive Profile: The profile’s depth and shape evolves along the airfoil, helping create a fast flying, stable kite with less back stalling. The center sections generate power thanks to a deeper profile, while the flatter profile in the tips minimizes drag and allows faster turning.
• Radial Segmented Arc: The radial segmented shape uses short linear segments to accurately form the kite’s arc.

• MOLDED TE REINFORCEMENT: Optimal trailing edge protection with a molded reinforcement at the end of each strut.
• MOLDED BUMPERS: Large thermo-molded bumpers wrap around the leading edge, which provide seam protection when landing and launching the kite.
• ARAMID PATCHES: Patches along LE segments to protect the seams.
• 2-PIECE LEADING EDGE: This construction provides better twist control of the leading edge, and improves turning performance.
• VERTICAL SEAM STRUTS: A reduction in the number of pieces used in the struts means more precision in defining the canopy profile. The seams are also reinforced with an extra layer of webbing, and double zigzag stitches to avoid breakage.
