Details

Some may argue that the board is not as important as the foil. However, we believe that the interaction between; board, foil and rider are critical to the performance and experience of riding a hydrofoil. No detail was overlooked or compromised in the design and engineering of the Galaxy Hydrofoil Board. The Liquid Force 2020 Galaxy’s precision engineered details offer the highest performance characteristics for your hydrofoil. A forgiving outline, combined with a unique forward placed double concave hull design, allows for easy on water tracking when starting as well as during planned, or even unexpected touch downs. The beveled rail design aids in heeled over, chop deflection, keeping the board in line with the foil trajectory.The “feel good” concave deck affords the rider detailed control via the ability to translate foil feedback more rapidly and precisely. Rider adjustability and set up preference is important to us. The Galaxy affords this with the use of a track mounting system for dialing in the placement of the foil, a full coverage comfort EVA deck pad complete with kick tail for the strapless rider, and performance tuned insert configuration options for; single strap, inline double straps, or triple strap configurations. All this in a unique molded lightweight and durable honeycomb carbon construction that is proprietary to Liquid Force.

Das Hover Glide ist ein All-Around Freeride Foil und ist mit seiner vielseitigen Performance und einer Aluminium- und Verbundkonstruktion ein perfekt abgerundetes und das widerstandsfähigste Foil auf dem Markt.

Darüber hinaus ist das Hover Glide das exklusive Foil Setup für Slingshots Multi-Mast Foiling Flight School Programm. Masten mit verschiedenen Größen können zusammen oder einzeln hinzugekauft und je nach Können individuell ausgewählt werden. So geht es schnell und frustfrei auf’s Foil.

Entworfen von Designlegende und Foiling Fanatiker Tony Logosz: Das Slingshot HOVER GLIDE ermöglicht frühstes Gleiten, stabiles Fahrverhalten und einfache Turns. Mit seiner jahrzehntelangen Erfahrung ist Tony dabei eine wahre Ikone im Foildesign. Den Hover Glide hat er als Allround Freerider entworfen. Die Kombination aus Aluminiummast und entsprechenden Verbundstoffen machen den Hover Glide zum bezahlbarsten und robustesten Kaliber auf dem Markt. Der Hover Glide verfügt verfügt über einen klassisch geschwungenen J-Gull Wing mit leichten Winglets vorne und nach unten geschwungenen Flügel hinten. Dieses Design resultiert in einem unglaublich stabilen Foil mit einem mittlerem Top Speed und insgesamt solidem Allround Feeling. Es kann auf jedes der dafür vorgesehenen Slingshot Foil Boards montiert werden und der Gleitkörper des Foils kann einfach in seine drei Einzelteile zerlegt werden. Leichter Transport und problemlose Lagerung sind damit garantiert. Alle Slingshot Foils können mit jedem Slingshot Foildeck kombiniert werden. Darüber hinaus bietet Slingshot die Foiling Flight SCHOOL exklusiv für das Hover Glide an. Damit lässt sich das Foilen durch die richtigen Mastlängen wie im Schlaf lernen. Ein funktionierendes System mit weniger Schmerz, Frust und Blamagen, während man das Foilen erlernt.
